Feeling Stuck… How to Find Freedom

  • Does drama seem to be a constant in your life?
  • Do your attitudes and behaviours get in the way of your relationships and/or life in general; yet you’re not sure what to do about them?
  • If you have established long-term patterns and beliefs that limit you, it’s hard to know where to start.

Sometimes being stuck in beliefs that don’t work for you (like ‘I’m not good enough.’) goes back to when you were still learning about the world and how you fit in it. You got it; childhood or early on. A lot of this information is stored in the back of your mind – the subconscious – where it’s hard to get at, let alone work with. Did you know that the subconscious includes not only the mind, but also the body and emotions? We are integrated beings. The body keeps tabs on the mind’s interpretation of events as ‘intrinsic memory.’ So, when you feel a knot in your stomach, your cheeks flush or you could just cry when you recall something that happened however long ago, you know that you are still packing around this unfinished business.

Getting unstuck or finding Freedom, then, includes getting in touch with those parts of you who were not seen and/or heard. It’s not about vilifying anyone and it’s not about ignoring or bullying yourself. Rather, the deep healing happens with the courage and vulnerability to turn towards your younger self with curiosity and compassion.

To work with these buried parts, Helena Green developed Clinical Meridian Tapping (CMT), expanding on Meridian Tapping (EFT), Compassionate Inquiry (CI) and Family Systems Theory (FST). CMT is based on science and works from the inside out. Along with CMT, practicing deliberate techniques (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – CBT), helps integrate new patterns in the here and now When you are ready to discover completeness, freedom and peace, this innovative approach engages all parts of you – the subconscious, the conscious, and the wisdom of the heart.
